AUOOI GRAIN — Hand-Stained Figured Maple Series

Colour follows the grain.

GRAIN is a study of wood, colour, and the marks left by hand.

Built around carefully selected flamed and burled maple veneers, each instrument is stained by hand to reveal the natural movement hidden within the wood. Pigment settles differently across every curl, figure, and irregularity, creating depth that changes with the light and can never be reproduced exactly.

Rather than covering the material, colour becomes a way of reading it. Each layer of stain responds to the grain beneath, allowing the character of the maple to determine the final image.

The result is an electric guitar that sits between instrument and painted object—where nature provides the pattern, and the human hand brings it into view.
