AUOOI AUREOLE — Fire-Treated Foil Series
Colour, born from heat.
AUREOLE explores the unpredictable transformation of metal through fire.
Each surface begins with delicate metallic foil, then heat, oxidation, and the movement of the hand allow colour to emerge from the material itself. Gold dissolves into bronze, violet, blue and shadow, forming luminous traces that shift with every change of light.
Rather than applying a predetermined image, the process leaves space for fire and material to compose together. Variations, burns, transitions and irregularities are preserved as part of the instrument, making every surface impossible to reproduce exactly.
The result exists somewhere between an electric guitar, a metallic painting, and an object shaped by fire.
